Engagement models.
Nausicaa Consulting works across four engagement structures depending on the service and project stage. Rates are not published — fee schedule provided on enquiry.
Publishing an unbenchmarked rate creates a ceiling that is very hard to move later. Instead, the table below describes how each engagement type is structured. Contact us to discuss your project and receive a fixed-fee proposal or indicative fee schedule.
| Engagement model | Applies to | How it is priced |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed-fee package | Market soundings, rate builds, WAIPS/APP participation plans, subcontractor pre-qualification. Defined scope, defined deliverable, defined turnaround. | Fixed price agreed before work begins. Not billed hourly. Scope changes are quoted as variations. |
| Project-based contract administration | Contractor-side CA or Superintendent's Representative for a defined project. Duration-based engagement from contract award through to close-out. | Monthly fee agreed at project start, priced against contract duration and complexity. Not a day rate — incentive is resolution, not hours. Multiple concurrent projects supported. |
| Standing retainer | Embedded commercial support for contractors with continuing Kimberley activity — ongoing claim management, subcontract oversight, market intelligence. | Monthly retainer covering a defined scope of recurring work. Provides priority access and continuity across projects. |
| Day rate | Site supervision, project administration, discrete short-form assignments, expert review. | Day rate quoted per engagement. Minimum commitment applies. Client travel recovered as a disbursement. |
Fee schedule on enquiry
Rates depend on project complexity, duration, contract value and role (contractor-side CA vs Superintendent's Representative). To receive a fee schedule or fixed-fee proposal for your project, contact us with a brief description of the works, the contract standard in use, and the project programme.
Client travel and accommodation is recovered as a disbursement at cost. GST applies to all fees. A written conflict check is conducted before any engagement is accepted.
